Recently we have a chance to work with a client on a credit card rebrand and relaunch event. The credit card is one of the most premium card with a long list travel benefits. The card itself got a major facelift, the benefits were revamped, and they have a series of events planned to promote the exciting news. They would love to give items that were luxurious and premium to the cardmembers. We were tasked to work on this part of the project on a very challenging timeframe! Read on to find out how it all happened.
Being a premium travel themed credit card, we knew the promotional products would have to be of top quality, and not “promotional quality”. The client would like the events to be a spa themed, so we researched for promotional items in that category such as towels, robes, headband, slippers, toiletry kits etc. In the end, the client chose a premium made in USA spa robe and a pair of waffle slippers for the set. They are not just regular promotional items; they are retail quality products that you could see in spas, hotels and department stores. They feel and look substantial and amazing! On the bathrobe the logo is carefully embroidered in the left chest, while on the slippers, the logo is applied by heat transfer.
Pro tip: When choosing promotional items, think quality over quantity. Get the most of your items with ones that durable and well made. Here’s a question to ask yourself: what do these items speak about my brand?

The robes and slippers will be given in person at the event, so the client would like a packaging to be a tote bag. In this case they opted for an elegant extra large Euro tote with matte coated paper stock. The logo is stamped onto the front in champagne color foil. The end results is a gift set that is classic, premium and luxurious.
We had a little less than 2 weeks before the first event for researching and customizing the spa sets. A few things that helped move the project swiftly along: efficient communication, quick decision making, rush production and convenient production location. The spa set was an instant hit at the event, loved by cardholders, attendees. The client loved it so much that more spa sets were requested at subsequent events!
