Welcome to our new video series “The Small Business Show” where we will feature top professionals in their industry to share wisdom in growing a small business.
Our guest for the first episode is Jonathan Brunasso and he is a solar consultant from Sunrun. Jonathan sat down with Swire and shared some of his techniques in sales & marketing.
For digital and social media marketing Jonathan suggests to find and understand the targeted demographic, then create the appropriate content and posts. His favorites social media platforms include Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin because they are popular and are popular for building business connections. Chamber of commerce and business networking group like BNI is also a great way to expand contacts.
Consistency matters, Jonathan suggests that it takes up to 7-9 times for a potential prospect to register the message. Create a social media posting schedule ahead of time for planning purposes. Also develop your own follow up technique and style because each client will have different timing to purchase. Current and old customers should be on your regular follow up schedule!
So check out our video and let us know in the comments what other small business professional you’d like to us to feature!
