Branded giveaways are staples at events and tradeshows, but before placing your next big order for upcoming events, here are some recommendations to make sure your choices align with your company’s objective and target market:

Purposeful Giveaways

Before starting your search for the right promotional products for the event, ask yourself the event’s objective and goals. For a natural skincare company a natural tote bag or organic tees may be more appropriate then traditional non-woven bags. If it is an outdoor event, the giveaways may  provide comfort or convenience such as sunglasses, visors, fans. For a tech company attending tradeshows, you may want to bring brand loyalty awareness with stylus pens, cell phone wallets or power banks maybe good ideas. If it is a government or military sponsored event, look for Made in USA type items.

3. Research your Customers

What is your ideal customer like? His/her gender, age, interests will help decide which items work best. What is the last giveaway item that you are still using today? Talk to the customers to survey some ideas.

The logo and color of the giveaway colors should follow the company’s style guide.
